Here is my final installment during Spay/Neuter Awareness Month and it just so happens that today, February 25, 2014, is World Spay Day.
It is the 20th anniversary of this program that promotes spaying and neutering as a means of saving the lives of companion animals and strays who could potentially be killed on the streets or euthanized. This is truly a global effort by hundreds of animal welfare organizations, vet clinics and hospitals, schools, businesses, and individuals. Events are organized in the U.S. and around the globe to educate people and their communities about the importance of spay/neuter, provide low cost spay/neuter services and raise funds for spay/neuter clinics.

And now, a word from Mr. Pablo …
“As you can see I’m a real beefcake. Guess what? I have brains too. I am a strong athletic Adonis of a dog who is looking for a pack leader to teach me the ways of the world. I am very treat motivated and probably would be great at agility. I am housetrained and know “sit”. I am very special and can flourish with a well-balanced lifestyle. I am totally worth it.”
Pablo has been at the shelter since the beginning of September. He is around three and a half years old, weighs about 55 pounds and is most likely some sort of Hound/Boxer mix. Come get a kiss from this boy and you’ll be furever in love.
